Word Counter - A Little App That Counts Word Frequency

Since I'm a writer, I try not to use the same words over and over and over and over (and over) again. App's a cute word, writing out "application" makes it sound more important, "utility" is nice and makes it sound like it fixes things, "program" sounds big and tough.

If you write, like blogger Tim Fehlman of Daily Cup of Tech does, you might want to know how many instances of a word you're using. In this case, I'd recommend Word Counter. A small app (that's three) written by Fehlman that analyzes how many times a word is used in a body of text. Just cut and paste it in or use a text file to get your analysis.

Word Count is portable and is Windows only.
